About Paper Demon Media Productions

We are a bunch of young people who work on projects to kill time. Some of the projects are more serious than others. The first project we started is Surviving Together, a romantic drama with a dark tone based on the Dragonball Z fan fiction written by LavenderGoddessV. During recording sessions, the cast often wanted to add humor that just didn't fit in with the mood of Surviving Together, so we created a spin off improv, comedy show called Zarbon's Masterpiece Theater starring Patrick James Lauritzen. An unrelated one minute film called Poison Apple is also currently in the works.

Our Website's History

Soon after Zarbon's Masterpiece Theater debuted on August 1st, 2004 it started to gain a fairly large fan base. The ZMT site was originally just a small section of PaperDemon.com (then BogusRed.net) and once the fanbase grew enough, I (Susie) decided to break it off into its own website. ZarbonsMasterpieceTheater.com launched in the summer of 2005.

In early 2006, the cast made the decision to end the ZMT series with the hope of creating a new series with original characters. Instead of creating a whole separate website for the new show with a new members database and set of forums, I decided to create a new website that would contain all of the films produced by Paper Demon Media with all of the members accounts and forum posts moved over to the new website. On April 4, 2006, PaperDemonMedia.com went live.

About our Forums system

"Oh wow your forumz are sooo kewl! I want one!"

It isn't phpBB or vBulletin or any free forum software. I wrote it myself. It still has a few bugs here and there that I fix as soon as I find out about them. At this time my software isn't available for distribution. I've only used it on my own websites and on one client's website. It most likely wont be available for distribution to the public because it isn't stand-alone.

"That editor you have in the forum is so kewl! I want one!"
